Ember Performance Glove

Peak performance, even in freezing conditions.

Meet Philip Romney

Philip Romney is a two-time podium finisher at the Utah State disc golf championship. Based in Logan, Utah, the 23-year-old balances his passion for the sport with landscaping work and outdoor pursuits like camping and live music.

When temperatures drop, Philip faces a familiar challenge: cold hands force him to choose between warmth and performance. Traditional gloves sacrifice the grip and dexterity essential for precise throws, while playing bare-handed means numb fingers and inconsistent releases.

For athletes like Philip who refuse to let winter sideline their game, maintaining feel and control in freezing conditions isn't optional—it's everything.

In cold conditions, hand dexterity and grip decrease, limiting performance
